JAMØ returned to Stage West - Penn State in State College on October 3 for another sold-out night, marking the second consecutive time the venue has reached capacity for one of his shows.

The result was another packed room and a crowd that stayed locked into the set from beginning to end.

The show also became an early testing ground for a large collection of unreleased JAMØ records. Throughout the night, he worked several IDs into the set, using the room to see how the new music translated outside of the studio.

The response was immediate.

Records that have not been released yet were met with the same energy as some of JAMØ’s established tracks, with the crowd reacting to drops, hooks and moments they had never heard before.

For JAMØ, that reaction has made the unreleased music even more exciting.

“I played so many unreleased IDs, and they were all connecting with the crowd really well,” JAMØ says. “I’m really excited to release these.”

The songs continue a period of rapid growth in JAMØ’s sound and live set. While his recent releases like “Like That” and “Atmosphere” have pushed further into the darker, tougher side of JAMØ’s space house identity, the Stage West show demonstrated how naturally that direction can translate into a live environment.

The second consecutive sellout also reflects the growing connection between JAMØ and the Penn State crowd. The first Stage West show established the relationship. Coming back to another full room made it clear that it was not a one-night moment.

For JAMØ, the most exciting part may be what comes next.

A collection of records that have only existed as IDs in his sets are now getting closer to release, and Stage West gave the first real glimpse at how they might live once they are out in the world.

Penn State sold out again.

The new music is coming.
